Launch of Samsung 4G Smartphones
Facing growing competition from brands like Micromax, Lenovo and Xiaomi, Samsung on Monday launched the Galaxy J1 4G – to be priced at Rs 9,900 in India – as the Korean electronics giant looks to protect its turf in one of the world’s fastest growing smartphone markets. Samsung has launched three other smartphones also to give its competitor companies a stiff competition resulting in a ‘Win-Win’ for the smartphone buyers.

A quick review of all the above smartphones have shown us that the Samsung Phones lag in some of the specification yet their prices are higher than the other available smartphones. Further to add that the Lenovo A6000 and the Yu Yureka are available only at e-commerce sites whereas the Samsung Galaxy phones are available at the retail showrooms also with exception that the Galaxy Grand Max is currently a Snapdeal exclusive.

Highlights of New Samsung 4G Smartphone Series:

Pro’s

  • Good after sale service

  • Better resale value than other smartphones

  • High quality of body material

  • A brand name

Con’s

  • Same old body design

  • Higher cost than other smartphones of its segment

  • Lagging problem as the RAM is less

  • Smaller screen size

Our Verdict:

As per our review on these 4G mobiles, Samsung has to deeply understand the market condition of india because its smartphones still lag the qualities to compete with lenovo and Yu Yureka. On the other hand we would prefer Yu Yureka as a personal choice because it delivers more power to the user than samsung J1.
